Joining our Nursery team, you will help us develop a service where health, education, care and fun are all part of fantastic experiences for children. Working flexibly in every department of the Nursery, you will provide a happy, safe, secure and stimulating environment that supports each child’s developmental needs. In all you do, you will maintain National Standards for Under 5’s full day care. Along the way, you will enjoy plenty of opportunities to demonstrate your individual strengths.

We will look to you to provide a range of indoor and outdoor activities relevant to the age, stage and needs of babies and young children, including those with special needs.  Working closely with colleagues, parents and carers, you will encourage children to reach their full potential - and you will provide clear reports on their development, both in writing and in person. Of course, you will take a proactive approach to developing your own skills, too.

To join us, you will need a qualification in or be working towards NVQ Level 3 in Childcare and Education or BTEC (Nursery Nursing). We will expect you to demonstrate knowledge of Early Years Foundation Stage Framework, Foundation Stage Curriculum and National Standards for Under 5’s full day care practice. Naturally, you will also have proven practical experience of providing high quality day care for children and babies, from 0 to 8 years, and their families. With a warm, respectful and encouraging approach, you have a talent for building relationships with adults and children alike.

In recognition of the vital role our staff play in our ongoing success we offer fantastic rewards beyond your pay slip that include a competitive pension package, enhanced leave policies, support for continued professional development, health related benefits including individual health care plans and access to a state of the art gym, onsite nursery, free parking, on site restaurant facilities, free breakfasts and a cycle to work scheme to name but a few!
