Skills Coach/Assessor (Carpentry and Joinery) 

Salary Range: £25,829 - £34,810 per annum (SCP 14-25, Grade 3-4)
Full time, 37 hours per week, (1.0 FTE)

You will be required to support with the assessment and reviews across the Standard L2 in Carpentry and Joinery and Standard L3 Advanced Carpentry and Joinery. The post will involve having a caseload of 40-45 apprentices and you will be responsible for ensuring timely and accurate reviews, assessments and progress for all. You will be responsible for coaching apprentices/learners to achieve the skills, behaviours, and knowledge to successfully pass their Apprenticeship to a distinction level wherever possible. You will have a good understanding of the funding rules in relation to the delivery of apprenticeships.

You will possess a minimum of a Level 3 qualification within relevant vocational sector – Carpentry and Joinery, an Assessor Qualification (A1, TAQA or equivalent) and a minimum of 4 GCSEs (A* - C, 9 – 4) or equivalent, including Maths and English.
