Salary Range: £25,829 - £34,810 per annum, pro rata
(SCP 14 - 25, Grade 3 - 4)

Full Time, 37 hours per week (1.0 FTE)

We are looking for a Skills Coach with an Engineering background to join the College’s apprenticeship Hub. Key tasks of the post, will include coaching and supporting apprentices on Engineering apprenticeships at Levels 2 &3, recruiting, inducting and training, reviewing, assessing, monitoring, and tracking apprentices working in a vocational field primarily, but not exclusively on employers’ premises. Delivering Apprenticeship Standards and being responsible for coaching apprentices/learners to achieve the skills, behaviours, and knowledge to successfully pass their Apprenticeship to a distinction level wherever possible. Maintaining a minimum funded caseload, in line with Stoke on Trent College policy and to be agreed with the line manager based on the particular sector subject area(s) the type of employment placement and geographical spread of apprentices.

You will possess a minimum of 4 GCSEs (or equivalent) grade 4 -9 (C-A*), relevant Level 3 or above qualification in your occupational area or equivalent, an Assessor qualification and an IQA or IV qualification is desirable.
