Salary: £18,327 per annum, pro rata

(Grade – 2A, SCP 13)

Part time, 20 hours per week, TTO 38 weeks per year (0.47 FTE)

We are looking for an enthusiastic Personal Carer/Learning Support Assistant to join our busy, supportive team.  As a Personal Carer/Learning Support Assistant, you will provide personal care support on a 1-1 basis for learners with complex needs. You will also support learners academically to help to develop their literacy, numeracy and study skills and in doing so raise their retention and achievement levels and develop learner independence. A flexible approach to your work is required, as is the need to maintain accurate progress records and reports as you support students in achieving their learning goals and life ambitions.

You will possess excellent interpersonal skills and the ability to build a great rapport with our learners. Experience is not necessary, but you will have a keen interest in supporting young people and adults. You will be professional and friendly with good IT skills, adopting a holistic approach to achieve the best outcomes.
