As we begin the Autumn Term, supporting the health and wellbeing of our colleagues continues to be an important part of life at the College. We want our people to feel supported, valued and able to thrive both at work and beyond. We know that choosing where to build your career is about much more than the role itself. The culture, benefits and support available to you all matter, which is why we continue to invest in a health and wellbeing offer that puts our people first.
As part of that commitment, we’re delighted to welcome FluXpress back to the College for the 2026/27 academic year, giving colleagues convenient access to flu vaccinations right here on campus as we head into the colder months.
But our commitment to colleague wellbeing goes much further than flu vaccinations.
Wellbeing support that makes a difference
When you join the College, you’ll have access to a wide range of health and wellbeing benefits designed to support your physical, mental and emotional wellbeing. These include free eye tests, comprehensive Occupational Health support and access to Wisdom, our comprehensive Employee Assistance Programme, offering confidential support and resources when you need them.
We also recognise how important it is to make space for wellbeing as part of their working life. Our colleagues benefit from dedicated wellbeing time, alongside a programme of wellbeing challenges and activities that encourage people to connect, get active and take positive steps for their health. With access to our on-campus Sports Academy gym, colleagues also have a convenient way to make physical activity and wellbeing part of their routine.
And that’s just part of our wider employee benefits and wellbeing offer, designed to help our colleagues enjoy a positive work-life balance and feel supported throughout their time with us.

A place where people matter
For us, wellbeing isn’t simply a list of benefits. It’s about creating a culture where people feel genuinely cared for, supported and able to be themselves. Whether it’s accessing expert Occupational Health support, using our Employee Assistance Programme, taking part in an Autumn Term wellbeing challenge, making time to focus on your wellbeing or fitting in a gym session on campus, we want our colleagues to have practical support that works for them.
