Stoke on Trent College Proudly Signs the Proud Stoke Space Pledge

At Stoke on Trent College, creating a culture where everyone feels welcome, respected and able to be themselves is at the heart of who we are. That’s why we are proud to have signed the Proud Stoke Space Inclusion Pledge. Delivered by local charity Project 93 as part of the One Stoke-on-Trent Campaign, the Proud Stoke Space initiative brings together organisations committed to championing LGBTQ+ inclusion and equality across the city.

By signing the pledge, we are reaffirming our commitment to promoting respect, challenging discrimination, using inclusive language and continuing to develop our understanding of how we can best support LGBTQ+ students, staff and visitors. We know that when people feel valued and included, they can thrive. Whether you’re a learner, colleague or visitor, we want Stoke on Trent College to be a place where you feel safe, supported and empowered to be yourself.

As an employer, we are committed to fostering a workplace where diversity is celebrated, individuality is respected and everyone has the opportunity to reach their full potential. Signing the Proud Stoke Space Pledge is another important step in our ongoing journey to build an inclusive culture where everyone belongs.
